The role will be responsible for building out financial models for both existing business lines as well as new initiatives from bottom up working closely with partners across the business informing not only the model output but helping to inform full business case to senior management and executive leadership. The ideal candidate will have a deep expertise in finance discipline with strong modeling experience working directly to analyze and inform existing product lines as well as new business initiatives and M&A. ÂThe opportunity
- Build out financial models for both existing business lines as well as new initiatives from bottom up working closely with partners across the business informing not only the model output but help to inform full business case to senior management and executive leadership
- Manage and improve existing product financial models, actuals reporting, business line forecasts, and ad hoc financial analysis including the development of regular monthly forecasts, long-range planning models, scenario-based models, and kpis
- Lead finance efforts to monitor marketing performance across all areas of the business as well as across product lines and geographiesÂ
- Work to develop entity, geo, and product P&Ls partnering closely with cross-functional partners across the business
- Track and manage liquidity and balance sheet usageÂ
- Evaluate financial and operational results to better drive company performance and identify opportunities in both revenue growth and expense management
- Build relationships across the organization and become a trusted partner to our functional leaders and partners
- Provide analyses and recommendations on financial and operational metrics to executive management to support decision-making
Skills you should HODL
- Outstanding communicator with excellent analytical skills with strong ability to synthesize complex workstreams into clear and actionable recommendations
- Excellent financial modeler with clear ability to incorporate drivers, kpis, executive summary pages, and dynamic color-coded inputs
- Ability to operate within ambiguous conditions and build out new processes with effective models and presentations to support decision making
- Prior experience engaging directly with product and business leads with full model ownership including the build out of full P&L and Balance Sheet projections (revenue key drivers, expense variables, WACC) as well as driving end to end business case development (timelines, cost structure, expected benefit, risks)
- Expertise in FP&A best practices, including early adoption of the latest tools and technologies
- Expert in SQL and database queryingÂ
- The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of progressive experience and demonstrated growth in prior FP&A or Strategic FInance positions, a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field
- Experienced in both large, well-run public companies and smaller, high-growth companies is desirable, experience with FinTech companies is a plusÂ
- Key understanding of GAAP accounting principles and be highly proficient with GSuite and Excel and SQL/database querying
